I have the same sense. Beyond wilder topics such as weird bearer bond scandals or the legend of Yamashita’s gold, one thing I wonder about is silver’s future role and value relative to gold or other yardstick.
Great point, Stephen, and thanks for the comment. I agree that it is hard to imagine silver playing a role. It's hard enough to imagine gold playing a role, and a massive leap to think silver will get invited to that party. I will say a couple things in silver's defense: 1. Silver remains in structural deficit, so regardless of the future role -- demand and supply forces remain out of whack. 2. Silver is in the constitution. 3. The paper smashes are real, which leads me to conclude they are protecting the paper/physical leverage...with more leverage. Cheers
